Phil from Trailblazers RV asked me if I wanted to help him at this year's show. I said yes.
On Thursday 10th March I left home in Mordy at 8am to drive the mighty Navara to the Caulfield Racecourse. It was peak hour, so it took about
40 minutes before I was parked and wandering over to the racecourse. Phil had given me an exhibitor's car pass and entry ticket. I found the
Trailbalzers RV stand at the Caulfield railway station end of the racecourse. Phil and Chris (his wife) had 2 5th wheelers and 3 slide-ons on
display.
My job was to answer any questions that I could regarding my 5th wheeler experiences.
It is currently Monday night and I have worked there for the past 5 days and have had an absolute ball, talking to all these great people, some
interested in purchasing a 5th wheeler and some just curious, like Marg and I were about 4 years ago.
Tomorrow is my last day, I will be happy when it is over, as it has been very tiring. On Thursday night (my first day of WORK), I arrived home
about 4:45pm, and fell asleep on the couch, woke up had dinner and fell asleep again, so Marg sent me to bed at 7pm, I slept until 6am, the best
night's sleep that I have had in a long time. Friday was better I stayed up until 8pm, Saturday 8:30pm, Sunday 8:30pm and tonight it is current
6:55pm, I might see 8:30pm, if I am lucky. Wednesday I will probably sleep in.
It is now 8:30am Wednesday morning.
I did have a small sleep in. The show finished at 4pm yesterday. Bang on 4pm, I started rolling up awnings and helped Phil and Chris to pack up.
I finally left the show around 4:45pm.
Overall, I really enjoyed working at the show, I will most probably work there next year, if Phil and Chris want me too.
