Day 65 - Monday 6th July May 2015.

Southport to Dicky Beach - 168 kms.

We awoke about 6:30am, got showered and started packing up and hit the road at 9:30am.

We followed Smith St to the M1, along the Gateway over Storey Bridge and continued along the Bruce to the Caloundra turnoff. The traffic was excellent, no stoppages at all. We only had a 170kms to go, so I didn't have a rest stop and drove non stop. We arrived at Dicky just on 11:30am, even though Tom told us at the start that our ETA was 11:26am, so very close.
I paid Peter the manager, $1,205 for 28 nights and we setup on 'our site' (#40). It took nearly all afternoon but it was a FULL setup. It consists of power, water, sullage hose, awning with 3 walls, the skirt along the LHS of the fiver to wind proof the enclosed awning area, the skirt at the front where my treadley lives chained to one of the front legs, the evacool fridge/freezer is chained to ther other front leg and lives inside the awning, we also have a collapsible wardrobe which lives inside the awning and has been brilliant. I am getting a cold and was absolutely buggered after finishing the setup. Almost forgot, I had to unpack my bike and get it ready for riding.

Dinner was a frozen pies and washed down with a few chilled refreshers.

As I wasn't feeling flash, I went to bed at 7:00pm and went to sleep, only getting up for a couple of pitstops and finally waking about 6:30am.

Our route from Southport to Dicky Beach - 168 kms.

Day 66 - Tuesday 7th July 2015.

Riding and Relaxing at Dicky - Dicky Day 2.

I slept shithouse last night, I have managed to catch a cold. I did go to sleep at 7pm last night and slept with afew pitstops until 6:30am, so I must be 'dying'. We both laid in bed and watched "Sunrise" before I was first up about 7:30am, showered and had brekky. Marg got herself organised and we left about 9:30am for Spotlight. Marg needed some more wool, we got there and believe it or not, Spotlight had sold out of the wool that Marg needed, she bought it at a Spotlight store in Melbourne. SO tomorrow or later, we have to go to Lincraft in Maroochydore. Anyway, after Spotlight, we visited Kawana Shopping Centre and had a coffee at Michels and did some food shopping at Woollies.

Back at camp, Marg had lunch while I turned into 'cycleman' and headed off to the Lighthouse at Mooloolaba. My normal route is approx 32kms, but I would like to ride about 45kms, which means that I have to ride some sections of it, twice.
While I was away, Marg walked next door to the Dicky Beach Surf Club and renewed her membership card for another 3 years ($8). After I was showered again, I did the same while Marg had a nanna nap.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 47kms gives me a total of 190kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 1st ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 47kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 1,941kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

I felt like Fish'n'chips for dinner so at 5pm, we walked over the road and renewed acquantiances with the owner of 'Reelax at Dicky'.

Tomorrow is Bingo at 'our' club.

My normal ride of approx 32kms unless I duplicate sections.

Today's weather photo from the Lighthouse at 12:47pm.

That's Caloundra on the left and Dicky on the right.

This is why we stay at Dicky - check the weather.

George was on the Currimundi Lake to welcome me.

I wont ride off the path. It's dangerous.

Day 67 - Wednesday 8th July 2015.

Our first Bingo at Dicky - Dicky Day 3.

We are both suffering a bit from a cold and consequently are not sleeping real well.
We woke up about 6:45am. We had brekky and got ourselves organised for Bingo and left at 8:30am. We had to walk a maximum of 100 meters to the front door of our club (Dicky Beach SLSC), if we could walk on water or through the creek, it is 20 meters away.
Marg got us a table at the back of the room, while I brought 2 full set $48, they only use paper here no ipads. We marked the various games and were ready for the 9:30am eyes down with heaps of time to spare, so Marg and I read the Melbourne Herald Sun on our ipads. Today, our luck continued sort of, we outlaid $48 and I won $7 while Marg won ZERO.
Our Bingo summary after our 9th week, paid $48 won $7 currently our holiday to Date losing $41 at Dicky and $94 at Southport bringing our total to a loss of $135. We need to lift our games.

Back at camp at lunchtime, Marg was going to bugger about at camp, while I went riding. It was overcast with a lovely looking rain squall approaching from the South. I headed north to the Lighthouse at Point Cartwright in Mooloolaba, where I take my 'weather photo'. I ate my 2 bread rolls and headed back to camp into an awful headwind. About a third of the way along, that rain squall dumped on me. I stopped and put on my wet weather jacket and continued on. Shortly it stopped raining.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 33kms gives me a total of 223kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 2nd ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 80kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 1,974kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

After I showered, we both had a nanna nap before walking over the road to IGA and buying some ice cream for me. While there, another quick rain squall came through. We were OK as we took brollies with us.
Marg made egg and bacon sangas. They were YUMMA.

Tomorrow, the forecast is for wet, SO we are off to Lincraft at Maroochydore.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 12:47pm. Yacht on the left.

Midweek yacht racing off Mooloolaba.

Another rain squall approaching us.

Day 68 - Thursday 9th July 2015.

Another rainy day in Dicky - Dicky Day 4.

Still suffering a bit from a cold.
We woke up about 7:30am, laid in bed and watched "Sunrise". We had brekky and got ourselves organised and about 10:00am we headed off to the Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore. We wandered around the Plaza before having lunch at the SPUD place and did some shopping at KMart. It rained on the way to and from The Plaza. On the way home, I drove along my cycling route, starting at The Lighthouse. To say that Marg was absolutely rapt... would be wrong.

Back at camp, the rain squalls came and went. I noticed a big blue section of sky, so I was off riding. just a quick ride to the Lighthouse and back. (32kms). When I was within one kilometer of camp, I got a tad damp. I could see the rain squall coming but it just beat me. For the remainder of the arvo, we just buggered about at camp and watched a few more rain squalls came through.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 32kms gives me a total of 255kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 3rd ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 112kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,006kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

Dinner was a scratch meal, Marg made grilled cheese on toast. They were YUMMA.

Tomorrow, the forecast is for wet, SO nothing is currently planned.

A beautiful faint rainbow.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 2:50pm.

Another rain squall approaching us.

Day 69 - Friday 10th July 2015.

Another rainy day in Dicky - Dicky Day 5.

Still suffering a bit from a cold and it's still been drizzling.
We woke up about 7:30am, laid in bed and watched "Sunrise". We had brekky and got ourselves organised and about 9:45am, we headed off to the Spotlight at Morayfield because Marg had run out of wool and the Spotlight on the Sunshine Coast did not have the correct colour. While there we did a food shop at the Woollies and then drove the 55kms back via the Glass House Mtns Hwy or Steve Irwin Way.

Back at camp, we had lunch and in between rain squalls, we walked over the road and bought some meat from the butchers and stopped for a coffee and cream bun at the Bakery. The rest of the arvo was spent with Marg having a nanna nap and me on my laptop and catching up, by watching some of my recorded TV shows.

Marg made schnitzels with vegies for dinner. They were YUMMA.

Tomorrow, the forecast is for MORE wet, SO nothing is currently planned. My riding is currently on HOLD and I am NOT happy.

Our route to Spotlight at Morayfield and back to camp via Steve Irwin Way - 114kms round trip.

Day 70 - Saturday 11th July 2015.

It didn't rain today, so far - Dicky Day 6.

Still suffering a bit from a cold BUT it was sunny for most of today.
We woke up about 7:00am, Marg laid in bed and watched "Weekend Sunrise". While I changed into 'cycleman' and as it was cold, I wore my trakky daks, not a good look but I was warm. It stayed dry the whole way to The Lighthouse and back. At the Lighthouse, I took off my trakky daks, as it had warmed up a bit. I did have my cycling gear on.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 32kms gives me a total of 287kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 4th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 145kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,038kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

Back at camp, I emptied the 'shitter' and then showered and Marg and I walked off to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee and cake, then back to camp for lunch and then I settled in watching the V8 telecast from Townsville. It wasn't Lowndesy's day. 'Frosty' Winterbottom won. Marg managed a nanna nap.

Dinner was a scratch meal, we had last night's leftover schnitzel in sangas. They were YUMMA.

Tomorrow, the forecast is for MORE wet and the Arctic Freeze is coming, SO nothing is currently planned.

A magic morning BUT cool.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 8:24am.

The ocean was flat with a very light breeze.

At the Lighthouse lookout, facing North.

Another beautiful view.

Even at 9:25am, it was still smooth.

Day 71 - Sunday 12th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze from the south has arrived - Dicky Day 7.

Still suffering a bit from a cold BUT it was sunny for most of today BUT BLOODY COLD with the wind chill.
We woke up about 7:30am, We laid in bed and watched "Weekend Sunrise". I managed to hurt my back a bit yesterday while emptying the shitter, SO no riding today.
Our friends Bob and Val are due in today at the site 2 from us, but the van on their site wasn't moving, so I asked at the Office and was told that they are coming in tomorrow. About 10am, we decided to have a coffee over the road at 'Reelax at Dicky'. Sitting at a table on the street in the sun AND out of the wind. It was beautiful. Walking back to camp, we went via the view of the beach and spotted a crowd around a 'beached whale'. We walked over for closer inspection. It wasn't a 'beach whale' After checking everything, we walked back to camp, I got my camera and returned to the beach.

It wasn't a 'beached whale' it was very large nets of mullet. Talking to the professional fishermen, it is mullet season and when the fish come in large schools and close to shore, the fishos come down with 2 boats and drag a net along the schools and drag it ashore. The female mullet have their roe harvested and shipped oversea, while the rest of the fish is used for fertiliser etc, nothing is used for human consumption.

For the rest of the day, Marg was doing her thing and I was watching the Townsville V8 telecast. About 1pm, Bob and Val drove past us and stopped, we walked outside and welcomed them. They had stuffed up their dates, they are booked in from tomorrow, so for tonight, they were on a site at the back of the park, so Bob could stay hitched up. After a few minutes, they drove over to their site and when they were organised, they walked over to our camp and we had coffee and chatted for an hour or so. We agreed to met at their new caravan at 4:30pm for happy hour. Happy hour was quite pleasant.

Back at camp, I watched today's V8 race. Again it wasn't Lowndesy's day. 'Frosty' Winterbottom won. Marg managed a nanna nap.

Dinner was a scratch meal, we had 'pigged out' at happy hour, so didn't need a decent meal.

Tomorrow, Marg said I can't physically help Bob setup, but I will help him with his new VAST Sat setup. No riding tomorrow, I will give my back one more day of rest.

A 'Beached Whale'. Maybe not.

A closer look. It is a large net full of mullet.

There were 3 large nets of mullet.

Emptying the net and filling the boxes.

A section of their net.

The bow of the SS Dicky.

Out the front of our Caravan Park. Caloundra on the far RHS. Red and Yellow flags on the LHS.

Day 72 - Monday 13th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is STILL here - Dicky Day 8.

My thermometer showed 3.7° outside and 9.7° inside at 6:20am, when I got up for a pit stop. Still suffering a bit from a cold BUT it was sunny for most of today BUT STILL BLOODY COLD due to the wind chill.
I got up about 7:00am, while Marg laid in bed and watched "Sunrise". We watched site 38 (2 away from us) packed up and leave about 8:45am, then I rang Val and Bob as that is their site. About 9:10am, Marg and I drove off to Kawana Shoppingtown for a largeish food shop at Woollies, we also called into Lowes for handies, I don't like tissues. While in Lowes, I checked out the Hawaiian shirts (I call them my 'cool shirts'), anyway, being colourblind, I like very bright colours and we left Lowes with 2 very bright shirts, now we just need some warm weather, so I can wear them. Before going into Woollies, we had scones, jam and cream with our coffees at Michels.

Back at camp, we helped Bob and Val setup their brand new awning with sides and also setup their brand new VAST (Satellite TV). This took most of the arvo, but was quite enjoyable. Marg did manage a nanna nap.

Marg made rissoles with 'slow cooked' vegies, they were YUMMA.

Tomorrow, We plan to have coffee across the road in the morning and I hope to ride in the arvo.

Day 73 - Tuesday 14th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is STILL here - Dicky Day 9.

Still suffering a bit from a cold BUT it was sunny for most of today BUT STILL BLOODY COLD due to the wind chill.
While lying in bed, I suggested to my 'little petal' that we walk over to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee about mid morning and in the arvo, I would like to go riding.
I got up about 7:00am, while Marg laid in bed and watched "Sunrise" and I think may have gone back to sleep until 8:30am ish. After Marg got up and organised, we headed off to Strawberry Fields, as we were leaving Bob asked me to buy him a tub of their homemade strawberry icecream, no prob, as I was buying myself one as well. On the way there, we turned off at Aussie World and said that we will have to revisit Aussie World at another time, as when we are coming home, we will have ice cream on board. Anyway, we arrived at Strawberry Fields, sat in the shade and had coffee and cake, then walked over to their shop, where Marg bought a large jar of their homemade strawberry jam and I bought a 1kg pack of premium freshly picked strawberries. I asked the lady between the counter, whether they sold tubs of their ice cream. Yes. $18 for 2 litres, I gave it a miss. We will be coming back here again during this trip with Bob and Val, as they want to visit here, they were busy this morning.

As we approached Aussie World, we remembered that we DIDN'T have any ice cream on board, so we stopped and checked it out. First shop that we parted with some money was the Ole Lollie Shop, then we parted with more money at the Fudge shop, then at the Memoribillia shop, I bought a "RatFink" sticker and as we were leaving we bought some homemade pies and ate them back at camp. Aussie World is about 10-15kms from camp.

After eating our 'yumma' homemade pies for lunch, Marg was all set in her chair about to continue reading her latest book that has her rivetted. I changed into 'cycleman' and headed off to Point Cartwright Lighthouse, as I approached the lighthouse carpark, I turned around and rode back to Beach Drive about 7kms away, before turning around again and heading back to the Lighthouse and then down the hill to the mouth of the Mooloolaba river then up the hill to the Lighthouse and then back to camp. A total of 46.7kms.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 47kms gives me a total of 334kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 5th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 190kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,085kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

After showering, I checked with Bob and Val and their VAST TV is now up and going.

Dinner was nothing. I ate my 1kg of strawberries and some fudge and some lollies. Marg did similar. It was YUMMA.

Tomorrow is Bingo, Val and Bob may be coming with us.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 2:35pm.

At least 7 ships at anchor.

A beautiful view from the Lighthouse.

George has a new friend.

George on the Currimundi Lake.

A ship leaving Brissy.

Day 74 - Wednesday 15th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is STILL here - Dicky Day 10.

Still suffering a bit from a cold but slowing improving.
We woke up about 6:45am. We had brekky and got ourselves organised for Bingo and left at 8:40am. We had to walk beside the creek, over the foot bridge and back along the other side of the creek to the front door of the Dicky Beach SLSC a maximum of 100 meters.
Marg got us a table at the back of the room, while I brought 2 full set $48, they only use paper here no ipads. We marked the various games and were ready for the 9:30am eyes down with heaps of time to spare. Val and maybe Bob were coming, Val arrived about 9:10am without Bob, he wanted to tidy up around their camp. We helped Val organise her bingo cards and we were ready to go at 9:30am. I fired up well, by sharing a Full Card Bingo with the lady on the next table, we got $5 each, then I called Bingo and Val nearly jumped out of her skin. This win was better, it was worth $60, we are in front for the day, then Val won $10 and then Marg called a false Bingo (old age) but she recovered by winning $10. It was a great day. We won.

Our Bingo summary after our 10th week, paid $48 won $75 currently our holiday to Date losing $14 at Dicky and $94 at Southport bringing our total to a loss of $108. Our overall loss is decreasing, for the moment.

Back at camp at lunchtime, Marg was going to bugger about at camp, while I went riding. It was overcast and cool. I headed off to Point Cartwright Lighthouse, as I approached the lighthouse carpark, I turned around and rode back to Beach Drive about 7kms away, before turning around again and heading back to the Lighthouse and then down the hill to the mouth of the Mooloolaba river then up the hill to the Lighthouse and then back to camp. A total of 46.8kms. The same route as yesterday. I am trying to make this my stand route, but I don't like the duplication from Beach Drive to the Lighthouse and return. I do that to increase my total kms. There is no easier way, as to ride further north, I would have to ride along the bike path on side of Nicklin Way, cross over the Mooloolaba river and head towards Alexandra Headland and ride along busy streets. That ain't gonna happen.

As I rode into camp, Marg was heading over to our club (Dicky Beach SLSC) to play the pokies, I said that once I shower, I was walking over to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee and 'watch the world go bye'. Marg lost. Similar skill to her Bingo.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 47kms gives me a total of 381kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 6th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 237kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,132kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

Dinner was the leftover rissoles and they were yumma.

Tomorrow nothing is planned. Yet.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 1:42pm.

A nice wave.

There were at least 11 ships anchored today.

Day 75 - Thursday 16th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is moving on - Dicky Day 11.

Still suffering a bit from a cold but slowing improving.
I woke up about 6:30am, put in my earphones, laid in bed and listened to 104.9 Sunshine FM News and music. We got up about 8:00am and buggered about. Marg said go for a ride. So I did. While away Marg tidied up camp and did some washing.

I changed into 'cycleman' and did my now normal route of approx 47kms. I headed off to Point Cartwright Lighthouse, did a U turn in the lighthouse carpark, and rode back to Beach Drive about 7kms away, before turning around again and heading back to the Lighthouse and then down the hill to the mouth of the Mooloolaba river then up the hill to the Lighthouse and then back to camp. A total of 46.8kms.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 47kms gives me a total of 428kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 7th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 284kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,179kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

After I showered, Marg and I drove over to Currimundi Woollies and did a small food shop plus filled up the mighty Navara with diesel.
After unpacking our shopping, we walked over the road to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee and cake. By this time, it was nearly 2pm, where did today go? The joy of being old. To fill in the remainder of the arvo, Marg had a nanna nap, while I buggered about on my laptop.

Dinner was hamburgers from 'Reelax at Dicky'. They are absolutley yumma.

Tomorrow nothing is planned. Yet.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 10:56am.

The Pilot boat coming back after checking the ships.

A very optimistic surfer. He didn't catch a wave.

George is always near bye.

A very smooth ocean caused by the offshore breeze.

Another nice view.

Day 76 - Friday 17th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is moving on. No, It's back - Dicky Day 12.

Still suffering a bit from a cold but slowing improving.
I woke up about 6:45am, put in my earphones, laid in bed and listened to 104.9 Sunshine FM News and music. We got up about 8:00am and buggered about. Marg wanted some ribbon, SO we drove to Kawana Shoppingtown and found the correct ribbon and had coffee at Rafters, as Michels was chockers.
On the way home, I decided to visit a bike shop to buy cycling tights, as I had now succumbed to the COLD. The bike shop didn't have any BUT told me to visit Anaconda across the road. Anaconda has a sale on and after trying on a pair of cycling tights, that fitted, I bought them. Sticker price $69.98 which I was more than happy to pay, after the discount they were $35. That's right, a 50% discount. After wearing them today, I will be buying another pair tomorrow. MY normal cycling tights I buy in Melbourne are usually $105. Unbelieveable.

After lunch, Marg settled into doing her thing, while I changed into 'cycleman' and did my now normal route of approx 47kms. It took a lot longer today, as I was stopping and taking heaps of photos, so I could create a pictorial of my ride.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 47kms gives me a total of 475kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 8th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 331kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,226kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

After I showered, Marg had a nanna nap and I walked over the road to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee and I read the Herald Sun on my iPad.

Dinner was fish fingers and vegies. They were yumma.

Tomorrow nothing is planned. Yet.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 1:52pm.

I ride down this hill to the Beacon.

The dredge at the mouth of the Mooloolaba river.

My turnaround point at the end of the Beacon.

It's a nice view from the Lighthouse.

I also ride up this hill.

Day 77 - Saturday 18th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is STILL here - Dicky Day 13.

Still suffering a bit from a cold only got a sniffle.
We woke up about 7:00am and got up. We had brekky and about 8:00am, I changed into 'cycleman' and did my now normal route of approx 47kms. I headed off to Point Cartwright Lighthouse, where I spotted a large boat anchored about a kilometer offshore, took some photos, rode down to the end of The Spit and took more photos, then rode back to Beach Drive about 7kms away, before turning around again and heading back to the Lighthouse and then down the hill to the Spit, where I managed to see the Tenders ferrying passengers. The various paddling clubs paddled out and around the boat, on the beach there was a surf meeting with heaps of colour. The Tenders picked up and dropped off their passengers at the Underwater World dock in Mooloolaba. The town expected about 1,800 passengers to descend on 'downtown' Mooloolaba, so Marg and I thought it was a GREAT idea to give Mooloolaba a BIG miss today.
The down side of today's riding was that my iPhone's battery had died so I lost 12kms of my ride. Instead of 47kms, I ended up with only 35kms.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 35kms gives me a total of 510kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 9th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 366kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,261kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

After I showered, Marg and I drove back to Anaconda, where I bought another pair of the winter cycling tights for half price, I also bought a pair of long fingered cycling gloves for $39.99. At the checkout there was some confusion, neither had tags, she found my tights ($34.99) but couldn't find my gloves, after talking to the other checkout guy, he said put it through as 'Unknown' for $10. I didn't complain. I left a very happy chappy.
Back at camp, we walked over to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee and cake and we also read the Herald Sun on our iPads. Later in the day, Bob and Val dropped in for a chat..

I hope you are sitting down. I cooked dinner tonight, it was undoubtedly the greatest and YUMMYIST poached eggs on toast EVER. It was beyond YUMMA.

Tomorrow nothing is planned. Yet.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 9:00am.

Pacific Pearl anchored off Mooloolaba.

Day 78 - Sunday 19th July 2015.

The Arctic Freeze is STILL here - Dicky Day 14.

Basicly, I have recovered from my cold.
We woke up about 7:45am, YEP 7:45am, I slept in. We had brekky and about 8:25am, I changed into 'cycleman' and did my now normal route of approx 47kms. I headed off to Point Cartwright Lighthouse, where yesterday's cruise ship is no longer. Did a U turn in the lighthouse carpark, and rode back to Beach Drive about 7kms away into an awful Southerly headwind, before turning around again and heading back to the Lighthouse and then down the hill to the Spit, today I was the only human on the Spit, yesterday it was chockers. Then up the hill to the Lighthouse and then back to camp. A total of 46.5kms.

My riding stats: Today's ride of 46kms gives me a total of 556kms for July. June's total was 946kms. My 10th ride at Dicky brings my total at Dicky to 412kms OR if you are really into figures, I have ridden 2,307kms since leaving home back on 3rd May.

After I showered, Marg and I drove to Chemist Warehouse, then back to camp for the remainder of the day.
We both laid on the bed, Marg read and I must have had a nanna nap, as I 'lost' 1.5 hours. When I 'awoke', I walked (without Marg, she didn't want to go) over to 'Reelax at Dicky' for a coffee and sat there and read the Herald Sun on my iPad. About mid afternoon, the rain squalls came. It is still raining at 7pm. It is still cool to COLD.

Dinner was just a scratch meal.

Tomorrow we are having breakfast at Coco's Cafe at Currimundi Lake with Bob and Val at 9am.

Ok. Who took my boat anchored off Mooloolaba.
It was there yesterday.

Today's weather photo at the Lighthouse at 9:53am.

See... NO BOAT...

The surf carnival is in Day 2 and full of colour.

The Boat... She is GONE.

Going on a pleasant Sunday sail.

On the weekend, the people are out relaxing.
