This is a pictorial of our day visiting the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Sunday 19th June 2022 with Grandson Mase and Marg's sister Therese (Rae).

As Marg's sister Rae came up and stayed with us for a week, it was a great time to do the 'Touristy' things.
So we planned to go to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday 19th June. As we were minding Mase on Saturday 18th and that he was staying the night, we thought that it would be great if we all visit Currumbin, so we did. For 3 old farts and a child it was $39.95 each. We arrived just after 10am.

We caught the Zoo's train to various stations. First call was the Bird show, then walked through the PreHistoric replicas, walked to the kangaroo park, then caught the train back to the Entry, where we walked through the Reptile area then eventually finished in the cafferia before buying George the pelican on our way to the exit.

It was a magic day, everyone loved it.

Nearly time to leave.

I had to buy George.
He is so beautiful. He sits on the corner of our lounge and talks to me.
