Frosty's Aussie Adventures

Some of my riding photos while staying at Townsville in 2014.

We stayed at The Lakes Holiday Park.
I headed out the park, along 2 back streets to Hugh St, which turned into Gulliver St before changing into O'Reilly St which leads to the Ross River. At the Ross River there is a concrete/bitumen shared path on both sides, similar to the Yarra river paths. I turn left and followed the path past some quiet back streets into the CBD, then head back via the V8 race track. There usually was no security, so I ride a couple of 100 meters along the track, before retracing my route back to Ross River, cross over to the west side and ride to Mocha Mecca coffee shop. From there I cross over to the east side and ride back to our camp.
The weather is usually sunny around 18 to 25 degrees with a light to moderate South East breeze. A total of just over 50kms.

The view from Juliette's Gelateria, where it is possible to buy ice cream, NOT that I have tried it.
Like hell, 4 flavours for $6.90 and it is bloody awesome.
